Looking into getting tracks on our 9870 and we have it narrowed down to Soucy or Tidue tracks. I am wondering if any one has run these or has any imput I would really apreciate it.

I ran the Tidue tracks. They performed very well. Very little required maintenance. Only complaint was that they were very rough riding on the road.

Dont know if your close to farmfest, but there is a 9870 on a pair of tracks that to me looks great.    Forget the name on the brand.    They are centered right and have a long foot print.

Good luck

Yep, those are it......  I know nuthing about em, but I like the looks of the length, and the drive is centered.....  Looks way better than that setup on the S series ya see pics of.

I like the look of the soucy but my biggest concerns are,
1. it is a very long track and I think that would be hard to turn around and it would put a lot of stress on the final drives
2. there are 24 mid rollers on each side that need to be greased daily and I know how that is going to go in the middle of fall and everything is full of mud and its starting to freeze at night.
3. Are they going to fit on the S680 we are looking at for next year?

One of our customers are running Soucy on an 8010 and they seem to do well and maintain a decent road speed. I ran a set of grip-trac on a 9770 in 09 and our travel speed dropped to 10 mph but they have a smaller drive wheel. I think we put them on in about 2 hours so would only run them if needed.

They soucys just put a diferent adapter in between the final drives, so i wouldnt worry about fitting them on again, if needed just sell and buy a new adapter I drove about 10 miles down road and had no complaints at all. Hold the road very well. Only took the soucy guy about 2 hours like hoggy said to put them on. They wanted 70k canadian for the set.
