| I have come across a low hr. (460HR)2577 combine which would replace my 1991 case/ih 1660. What is the good/bad about these combines. I would put a 20ft flex head on the machine to harvest 100bu wheat and 50 plus bu beans. 200 bu corn. My current combine has 2640 hrs. in excellent condition but looking at this is as close to a new machine I will ever get to. Comments welcome. |

| In 50 bpa beans you will be able to push a 20' heat about 8 mph to keep the combine loaded. A 2577 will be at least 50% bigger than your 1660 is. |

South Western Ontario | We went from a 1666 to a 2577 4WD that was a year old with about the same hours. First year used our 22.5 foot head, hard to keep it full and burn the same amount of fuel as a 25 foot as we currently run. Could handle a 30 foot easily. They are an excellent machine, with the bigger 30 inch rotor. No comparison to the 1600 series combines.
Nice quiet cab. Does it have the pro 600? Nice option.
You wouldn't be disappointed. Good Luck!! |

sw corner ia. | I like my friends' 2577 way better than the deere 9670, much quieter cab and for some reason a lot less fuel out the stack. great machine. I have run the 25 in some really good green beans and about 5 mph sounded like enough to me. Dry ones will be like cliff said. |

southern wisconsin | Had a 2577. traded for a 6088. Pushed a 30ft with it and never had a problem.....last year averaged 68bushel beans. Can run at 5mph without even working it. Did noticed it had alittle hydraulic squeal when pulling hills with a loaded grain tank. |
