I seen your screen name. How did you come up with it? I have quite a few family members that have worked at Cessna.

We purchased a 375 plain jane last fall. The only computer it has is
the one on the Cummings engine and boy what a computer. It will run
1700 to 1800 all day long at great fuel economy, yet when we need to
do deep chisling it will walk the dog on that. We really like it.
Only draw back we have seen so far is the detent on the hydraulic
valves. They don't work. They say they are working on a fix.
Otherwise it a great machine.

I have a 435 and like the tractor but it is in the shop at the moment getting a new transmission. They figure a couple cogs broke off a gear and basically ruined the tranny and it was 4 months out of warranty but versatile is gonna pay for the tranny and I have to pay labor which I thought was fair. The biggest complaint we have is cab noise but they have supposedly fixed that on the 2011's. I'm renting a stx 440 at the moment and I have not driven it myself but my dad and wife have and they hate it and want the versatile back. The 435 takes 18-20 gallons an hour pulling a 48.5 dmi digger 6.5-7 mph.

We have a 375 and I would not buy another one. But it is good cheap horsepower and that is what we wanted.

We have a 375. I haven't run it yet - save for pulling out the combines during harvest - but dad likes it a lot and I look forward to putting some field hours on it this fall. I don't think we've found any faults in it.

RV6A - why wouldn't you buy another one?

Have you had a resonator installed on your 435. I bought a new one last spring and was surprised how loud it was. Last fall the dealership installed a resonator between the turbo and exhaust. I was a little skeptical but it did help with the low pitch bellar I was hearing. It might be worth looking in to.

Just got a 435 this spring. Seems like a well built easy to work on machine. Few things I dont like on it were the mirrors, they seem like they are just slaped on. I moved them to a different spot and like it much better. The other thing is the deccelerator pedal. The tractor we had before had a foot throtle and i liked it much better, might have to find a way to change that. Ours has the manual transmission. We pull a 40.5' dmi with rolling basket and on our ground I wouldnt want one much bigger, I think we run a bit deeper than most people do because there is no way we could be pulling 50'+ like alot of them are with similar hp tractors. Seemed to burn right at 22 gal per hr. If i went up a gear and throttle back would run out of power on hills. Overall Seems to be a nice tractor for the price.

Have a 2011 375. Really like it so far. Pulls great, it replaced a 9682 which should be same hp, but it has a lot more power. Not a lot of electronics, dash has some nice features. Cab temp is handy and fuel usage is nice too. Burns 13-15 gal per hour on the dash pulling 48' Bourgault 3310 and 6700 tank. Mud here is hurting economy. It looks like it will be about 1/2/liter per acre less fuel than the 9682. Cab easy to get in/out. Best seat I have ever sat on. Mirrors need to be moved, like earlier post. Cab is quiet. Lots of power hookups. Proper buddy seat. Hydraulics a bit cheap. Hard to adjust flow, need 12-15 gal per set, it wants to put out 25.
Engine oil filter mounted over top of hydraulic tank. Annoying, will have to make something to direct oil in to pail better. Transmission (manual) shifts very nice. Lots of lights. I put the tow cable kit on. Great idea, haven't used it yet, hope I never need it. Hooks to front of hitch and out to front of tractor.

I have read the other post here and their wrong. We also have a 9682 and it is twice the tractor the 375 is. Ya the 375 has better lights and little more power and the buddy seat and that is great. But the seat is junk the radio speakers are junk the door does not seal up when shut the paint is coming off and we made the mistake of not buying one with a power shift. With out power shift you can not manage your power. But that is our fault for not getting power shift. I am not ever going to buy another one that is for sure I don't care how cheap the price is.

Their opinion does not make them wrong. That is your opinion of it. Sounds like you cheaped out buying it, when you should of bought a bigger model, and now the tractor is junk because you cheaped out... If you wanted more options, then you should of paid for them!!

That is not Versatile's fault.

Why when you try to be honest on here someone turns you into a bad guy? I just telling you my problems with the tractor. It is my fault I did not get the power shift. But is it my fault the speakers are junk and the seat, paint job and the door seal. You mean to tell me if I bought a bigger horsepower on that all that would be better? Who fault is it then? I can see why people get so bitter on here trying to be honest and you make me out like I am a bumpass.

Reading your posts, interesting comments. To clear a few things up, RV6A if you are having problems with your tractor you should contact your dealer so he can make Versatile aware of them. The seats do have a problem of leak down due to air hose routing and being too stiff. Sears seats won't admit that though, to them they are perfect. You say you have paint peeling off...that is not common, take pics of the problem area and have your dealer send them in to Versatile. Door not sealing...there is a fix for that, ask your dealer to check his service bulletins. Speakers, ok, they are not the best.
Hydraulic valve does not adjustable detents..they are adjustable, just not easily adjustable. Detents have to be disassembled and shims added/removed so not that easy.
Rodd, for your flow control problem: the flow control curve on this valve flattens out at a higher flow setting for fine adjustment (above 20gpm). If the flow control is in full flow position in cab and you have above 20 gpm in that position there is only a maximum 5gpm change in flow, so in low flow position you would have 15gpm. Set your flow control in hi position, loosen set screw on the bell crank on the flow control at the valve and using a flat screw driver turn the flow control down to 20gpm and retighten set screw (do not overtorque) This will give you a max flow of 20gpm and a low flow setting of about 12gpm. Having a flow meter would be nice but you could do it by trial and error to get it into an acceptable range. As a start, turn it 1/4 turn cw from full flow. A different type of flow control is being looked at that will give a wider range.
As for the 9682 being better, the 375 has a better shifting, more durable trans-ask anyone who has a 80-84 series and you will find several that have replaced the 1st and 2nd countershafts with failed gears more than once. This trans has been improved in that area. Do not get me wrong, I worked on a lot of those old tractors and like them, they just had a few flaws in the trans that never really did get corrected by NH.
FYI, best economy is at 1800rpm. oh ya, the foot throttle requires a software change in the engine computer to make it into a decelerator, not available....yet.
