Brazilton KS | A shop that rebuilds them, or a source for parts, or even just identify who built them....anything would be helpful.

I doubt it is any help but our local Ziegler Cat dealer has been great for service on ours. I do have a phone number for their "rogator specialist" if you would like, shoot me an e-mail if you would like it.

Brazilton KS | I have the motor on the floor now. It is Sampo Black Bruin Hydraulics, which would appear to be another name for Sisu which is another name for AGCO...in other words, we're screwed.

I had a neighbor that has an older Rogator who had an outfit in Hutchinson rebuild theirs. The name is B & B Hydraulics but I don't have their number with me. Theirs is an older one like I said but would be worth a try anyway.

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | What is it doing Mark? Is it tore up or just leaking or what? Agco parts in Virginia are a nightmare.

Parsons Kansas | Mark... I had Herrs Machine up in Washington Ks. rebuild some Poclain wheel motors for my Gehl skidsteer. Don't know if your machine has Poclains or not just using the Poclain info from the above post. They did a good job and I was happy about the price. I know you guys do alot of your own work but they may be able to help get parts. Their number is 1-877-525-2875. I can't remember the guy's name that I talked to though. Good luck Darren.

Stanley, Manitoba, Canada | It appears that Sisu/Valmet sold the hydraulic motor company before AGCO bought Sisu 2004. http://www.blackbruin.com/en/company/black+bruin+history/

Brazilton KS | Dumping massive amounts of oil, making nasty noises, not holding charge pressure, and numerous bolts between the covers and the cam ring popped. Trusted source tells me that the cam ring is probably cracked. Don't really have the luxury of time right now. Will invesitgate as soon as the spraying and planting are done.

Brazilton KS | Pulled it because the machine was down in the middle of season in the middle of the road, and I was advised based on symtoms that it was mostly likely trashed, and there were not usually enough good parts to make it worth repairing based on the price structure between individual parts vs reman. I admit I did not really investigate that fully at this time....right now having it running again tonight is probably worth more then the cost of the wheel motor...it warranted I can rebuild the one we removed at a later time, or have it rebuilt.
What do you do to them on the machine? Rebuild in place? Are you able to do so economically with the parts prices compared to a reman? I hope so, but that was not what I was advised here.

Brazilton KS | Thank you for all the leads. This is a Sampo motor, not Pocain. The two places we have dealt with did not have access to parts, or at least not at prices which allowed them to rebuild one economically. I will follow up on all the leads offered when time is available.

SW Iowa | I'll try this again Mark, last night I had a comment all typed out and it didn't post, so here goes. When I was working on Gators, we only field serviced the wheel motors on 8-1254s, 8,10,1264 and 74s. The 664s had to be shipped into a hydro shop, but they hardly ever failed, and not many were made.

Brazilton KS | If you would contact me via email, I would appreciate it.
Have the one we removed on the floor of the shop, and now the other rear is leaking. Looks like I am going to get some experience. Have been told that special fixtures are required....but then I've been told that about most every machine Cat or Deere ever built, too.....and routinely repair them anyway.
1264C....both rear motors are the same part number. I assumed you just hook the front line up to the front port? The one I installed works, at least I know that much.

SW Iowa | If they are the same part number, then there is no rotation difference. If there was a different part number for each side, then one would be CW, the other CCW. On the spindle you may see an A port and a B port. If you switch the lines, it will change the rotation of the motor. I'll drop you an email.......
