JD 2600 swath control Icon on screen ?

Subject: JD 2600 swath control Icon on screen ?


Central Missouri		I have a JD 1790 planter with row command and swath control activation. According to the operators manual I should have a Icon on the 2600 display on the planter run page for swath control. The icon looks like blue graph bars. I have attached a picture of what my screen looks like and put a orange circle of where this icon should be. Should this Icon always be on the screen or just when you are planting and using swath control. I think
I have everthing turned on for swath control on the display and cannot figure out how to get this Icon on the screen. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Central Missouri		The Icon should be just below the rotate meters Icon but is not there

west central IL.		I just tried it on my simulator and when I went to GS2, swath control button and then checked swath control the icon you describe shows up.

WC IN		You might need to update your display software. I know that early on when swath control was introduced there was no shortcut checkbox available, you had to go all the way into the GS2 menu to turn it on or off. I don't remember exactly which software update included this feature though

Is there a Swath Control activation on the display? Is the activation active? If there's no activation, you won't see the icon you're looking for.

Central Missouri		Yes i have an activavtion but no Icon and yes swath control has a check in the box. This is what my diagnostic screen looks like

Marktractor, the only place there will be a swathcontrol icon is in menu and GS2 pro and only when there is a swathcontrol capable implement pluged into the "can". If your updated to the most recent software (2.7) there will be a Swathcontrol on/off checkbox on most homepages. I would set up a homepage with the swathcontrol settings button on it, in layout manager you will have to have the 2 box layout for this option. The screenshot you have on here is a screenshot of seedstar XP and there will not be a swathcontrol icon on this page.
