Subject: value of antique John Deere disk plow

I have a pull type 6 blade John Deere disk plow on steel wheels, all rust but solid, nothing broke. All 6 blades are on one gang, 3 standards and bearings, not sure (can't find) model #. What would a fair selling price be? Don't know whether to ask for scrap price or is this a collector item. thanks.

West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge

That is what I consider to be a disc plow, we have a 4 bottom P and O ( apparently they became part of IHC) that looks like that, built like a plow, except with round blades.  And I expect it is worth its weight in scrap.

Thats what i was thinking. My dad had a IH that looked about like that, but his was a two point.P&O did become part of IH.We used have a IH two row lister that P&O casting # on it.

Pennyrile, West Ky.
It doesn't matter if it's a disk plow, or a one way disk, paint the frame green, blades black, and the wheels yellow,,,make something simple to mount a mailbox to and advertise it for sale and set your own price, the sky is the limit,,,,,believe me, someone will buy it............
