SE South Dakota | We are getting a new 16-30" 1770 CCS planter this spring. We ordered it with the piston pump from JD. But the rest is up to us (tank, hoses, tubes, etc). We are planning to go with the total tubular, red ball monitor, uncertain about rebounders to stop seed bounce. Don't want to put tanks on tractor so need one for the planter with mounts. Does anyone have some pictures of there setups or helpful info? We checked with C & R Supply in Sioux Falls but haven't commited to anything yet. Any pictures would help to see where hoses are run etc. Our plan is to have the pressure hose from the pump come to the red ball monitors on the tongue in front of the tank and then run back to each row. PS is there a different set up needed if we want to run capture with the liquid? Edited by J & R Ranch 2/10/2011 08:15

Central Minnesota | I have a 1770 ccs deere planter, and my liquid fertilizer set up comes from L&D ag in Hartland MN. They have a very nice, and simple set up. You can buy everything you need there from the tank, to all of the plumbing, mounting brackets for everything. My planter already had it on when i bought it. But i was pricing stuff out for the 1770 before i found a 2 year old planter already set up with it. You can buy what you need thru them, or you can have your planter delivered there, and they will set it up for you. http://ld-ag.com/1770.htm There's a link to their website... I hope this helps. That should link you directly to the 1770 model with pictures of it.

Findlay, Ohio | Here is what we have, we have the tank on the planter plus pull the cart. If we were doing it over we would just pull the cart. (Mon=Tag Cart2-05-2011.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Mon=Tag Cart2-05-2011.jpg (42KB - 478 downloads)

Slicker than a Yes album. | Putting quite a bit down for a 16 row? Do you run out of seed and liquid at the same time? We don't have ours timed quite right, but it's not a pain. At least one guy can run seed and liquid one at a time for the planter then. (14974.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 14974.jpg (35KB - 461 downloads)

Slicker than a Yes album. | Wow, okay, so you are putting on more than 4-5 gals per acre then. Thinking about going from the T band spray to an actual dribble here. But staying with the lower amount, NH3 takes care of the rest.

Try Benco, I added setup to my planter last year 24 row 4 section swath control through 2600GS2 using JD rate controller all setup came in alot less than anyone else. (888-649-48620) They are on South side of Sioux Falls so not far from you. www.bencoparts.com
