 MI | I was looking at 6400's two years ago and I'm glad I bought a 7200 |

|
| We have a 7210 we use for about everything .It's kind of like a old pair of shoes , everything just kind of fits . Are has a power quad . |

Elizabethtown,KY | 7210. |

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | 2wd or MFWD?
You get a six cylinder with the 7210 along with a long wheelbase. One thing about the 6xxx is they ride rough being so short, unless you put tall tires on them. If you don't need the extra hp I like the 6000's just for manuverability. They are a handy size for haying. The short wheelbase makes them perfect to turn with a rake or such.
There are hard to find around here however. I've been looking for something in that range myself, about ready to hook up the trailer and head back east. ;) Used out here either means almost new $$$ or all used up. Went and looked at a 7400 that had almost two doors on it... Guy'd told me it was in "good" shape, just not perfect. |

Centralia, MO | I'd vote for the 7210. Waterloo built tractor has a better transmission IMO. Set the tires out wide for best stability and turning. |

Oxford County, ON | Go for the 7210. We have a 7410, 7510, and a 6420, all with loaders. The 10 series tractors are much nicer to operate. More space, more visibility, the 4-banger will lug down faster and take longer to recover. Hydraulics are probably a little faster on the 6420. One thing I absolutely HATE on the 6X20 series tractors is the MFWD coming on every time you touch the brakes. It's a great idea above 10mph, but very hard on the front end IMO. Not sure if the 6X30s are the same way... |

Your moms house | 7210. All the mfwds are that way. |

Klamath Falls, OR | Jeff, I have 6400 and a 7210 both mfwd. the freeman 330 bumps the 6400 around a bit more but not at all bad. 6400 will out manuver the 7210 but the 7210 has bigger frame. engine, clutch pacs. hydraulics, ect. IMHO it would be hard for you to go wrong either way. The 7210 is better for tilliage. |

Woodham, Ontario | 7210s or any 7x10 tractor are amonst the best Deere built. Our 7210 has 8000 hours. Had a 7710 IVT too, but traded it on a 8120. Still miss that one. |

Ste. Rose, MB | 7210 - generally speaking any 6000 series has been junk compared to the 7000's |

Oxford County, ON | Hey deereman, do you know if the 7X20 and 7X30 series have the MFWD kick on every time you hit the brakes, too? |

W.C. Mo. | Traded a 7210 for a 6430. Within 500 hours we retraded for a 7230. 6430=rough ride, not enough hp for mower, and not enough weight to handle baler on our hills. Non of the tractors were MFD. |

Centralia, MO | They would only do that with the selector switch in the Auto position. |

Oxford County, ON | Thanks. |
