wc missouri | How do you recomend or who even makes kits to put on wagon running gear to turn them into header carts. I have 2 running gear that I need to make in to head haulers. I would also even just make it all myself if someone has a plan or pictures of a homemade cart they made. I have considered buying one but I basically spent my money on better combine and heads. The other deal is that the cheap ones well look cheap to me and I have 2 sets of gear with nothing to do.

Brazilton KS | Two pieces of 3" tubing for stops...weld one standing up at the edge of each bolster. Weld imilar pieces on the opposite side, standing up, with a piece of 4" pipe welded on top of them. Done.
This one is a little different, it was built from something someone else had already made that didn't work very well. Thought I had some better pictures, but can't find them...and it's time to get ready to go now.

NW Ohio | Shoup has a kit. I sawit in their book the other day. Shoup # is SH10001 - Running Gear Header Bracket Kit. Price: $484.95. Not sure that I like it. If you don't have a book call and tell them to send one to you 800-627-6137. There is a picture in the book.

Blue Earth, MN | Did something similar to plowboy's, works great and it's cheap and easy.

North Central Kansas | Wow, those look like mine Plowboy. Ok, close. I am just in the process of building one myself. I have the supports made, just need to lengthen the trailer and then put the pipe across the front. I will try and get photos for you today and post later.

We had one real similar to plowboy's. Whipped terrible down the road. But, that might have just been a function of the gear. Dad built another one copying a killbros, and it works ok. Built on a jd gear. Bought a new ez flow this fall, and, so far, so good.

North Central Kansas | Ok, finally got my photos. Sorry for the delay. I need to pull it apart and add the support beam. But I got end rests done. Keep in mind this is not a down the road unit. It may work for it, but the idea is to store it up off the ground. We will move it around for storage purposes, but not travel to the fields or such.
