Subject: Pictures of cotton picker picking head



East Central Arkansas

 In one of the post below someone asked for some pictures of cotton picker heads. The first picture shows from left to right the doffers, then the bars and spindles and the the moisture pads. Also showing on the far right is the stack of doffers for the front drum. The last picture is the doffer collum again.

Seem to be fairly cheap around here, or were, haven't kept up with used much, but I know a 2 row or older 4 row can be had for less than $10,000, should be considerably cheaper than that.

Mine never looks that clean , only in the beginning before we start. Started today ,picked 1 basket to check everything out and it started to rain, might be a long season.
