SW Iowa | Replacing a 4450 MFWD. Looking for more HP. Would a 4755 MFWD be a good choice? I have located one with 3400 hours that is good shape. Also I have considered an 8100 MFWD. The 8100's are hard to find with low hours and are pricey. The tractor would be
used for anhydrous, grain cart, dirt scoop, some tillage. TIA |

| You should get tons of answers both ways, I would lean towards the 8100 if you put in long hours. |

Itta Bena Mississippi | My old hide likes the 8000s for the day in-day out thing anymore, but my 11k hr 4755 is the best tractor I ever owned. Tom |

south east iowa | With 4500 hrs we've only replaced a/c compressor, added a fan lockup kit, rebuilt water pump, one front axel seal, a low pressure steering line under dash and many hood head lights. It should at 3400 hrs be a great tractor. |

| We have both, you will find the 8100 has a better turning radius. The 8100 has nicer hydraulic controls in the cab, the shifter is nice to run and the cab has more room but as you said it will cost more. The 4755 will get the work done and between our two I can't see a difference power. |

north central iowa | like my 4755 with 9000 hours. Had to overhaul engine at 8000 hours, as it started using oil. The 8100 would have more cab room and visibility, but they seem jumpy the way they handle and shift. It depends on how much you want to spend. You can't go wrong with a 47 in my opinion. FWIW |
