Owens Cross Roads, AL | I am looking at a newer tractor and had a dealer in IL tell me they were the same tractors. He has both on his lot and said the difference was the T8010 has super steer. Is this true, I thought they were totally different tractors? The blue one is a good bit cheaper, but I am not worried much about resale since I keep tractors for 20 years. Wilson |

| Couple things to check, does the Magnum have front suspension? The Super Steer I believe is not offered with suspension. Are the tires the same, if the Magnum has 34" front tires it actually turns shorter than a supersteer tractor(not many people realize that)? In my area alot of the N.H. are not ordered autoguidance ready whereas the Magnums are. A.G. ready is standard but can be deducted. Biggest questions is are they equipt the same, some options can add up fast.
They are both basically the same, the N.H. does not use a drop box off the engine to the transmission like a Magnum does. |

Vidalia ,Louisiana | And because the CNH has a drop box the engine runs a couple hundred rpm's slower.

| I bought a T8030 this summer. Wasn't dissappointed in the MX tractors but I don't want to tell the whole story of why I bought a blue tractor. What I can tell you is that we are pleased with the NH tractor we put 200 hrs on it this fall on the cart, J&M 875. It preformed well, the super steer is really nice. The cabs are very similiar, except the fwd rev control is on the RH console, where throttle is on MX. A separate lever on the NH for the throttle. Engine appears the same expect there is no drop box behind it, wheel base same, rearend same, can have dealer installed high flow hyd. In summary if you like the MX tractors you'll like the NH T 8010. Both tractors built in same factory I think.
As far as resale, after 20 yrs isn't the condition and hrs as important as make? I keep tractors a long time as well, traded a 1984, case 2594 for the T8030. I received what I feel is a fair value for the 2594, not trying to blow my own horn, but the paint was good, no leaks or drip, and had 80% tires 18.4 42, everything worked in the cab, A/C was converted to 134. I feel these kind of stuff means as much as make of tractor???????? |

| Ran an 8020 and don't like the separate throttle. Supersteer was hard to control with autosteer. The front end correction was like a drunken sailor. Have to use the diff lock to keep yourself sane. Have had the best working on it and it's just the characteristics of the axle. IMO autosteer would be CIH only. If you like the other things it's personal choice. |

Central Ohio | Its sounds like your autosteer isn't tuned quite right. We have a genesis with supersteer and it took some time but once it was tuned right the swaying back and forth was gone. I think a lot of it can be taken care if by adjusting the aggressiveness |

West Central IL | The shifter and throttle on the same lever is one of the things that keeps me from going back to a JD from my Magnums along with a few other cab details.I'd much rather have the Magnum over the blue one because of the controls they have screwed up in the blue cab. |

This was with an FM1000 unit and everything was checked including something down on the axle. It was just too sensitive to use with RTK?? No adjustment could keep it in check. Maybe if there was just a way to lock out the axle and use the wheels only for the first few degrees it would be best like the accusteer. |

RRV, MN | Supersteer helps, but it still wont out turn a new magnum. Like the others said the biggest difference is the drop box and cab controls. If you are doing row crop you will get alittle better view around the axle with the red one. If you are comming off a MX it will take awhile to get use to the gear/throttle controls in the blue one. Both are very nice tractors, but check the options between the two. Auto-steer, hid lights, luxury cab, tires, etc.... adds up in price in a hurry. |

RRV, MN | also forgot to say that the NH line will be changing in the next Generation of tractors. Looks will be completely redone, also the super-steer is no more. Believe the cab will stay relatively the same. This will be their marketing plan to move tractors with TIER 4, add new features. Their plan is to different themselfs more from the red line. Kinda off subject but didnt know if this will influence your decision at all. |

| have both a mag and a NH like them both the same if i had to choose between the two i would go with the cheeper(if equipped the same). Have not had any problems with RTK autosteer in the NH with supersteer either. It took some adjusting but once we got it correct its just as good as in the MX |
