Subject: Sourcing a Versatile windshield

Sharon, Kansas
Front glass spontaneously shattered in my 2009 Versatile 375. Local dealers don't have one. Versatile could MAYBE get one by late October, which doesn't help me put wheat in the ground in a timely manner. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to source a windshield? Cut some plexiglass and affix with duct tape for the next few months?

Or find a local glass shop to try and cut some. I checked Versatile, at least they are telling the truth, no stock.

I'll look and see what else that glass fits, maybe find a junkyard?

Parts 86031487 is the original number, replaced by 86039107...fits models 305, 340, 375, 400, 435, 485, 535, 585...so the C2 and HHT tractors

Nah, just a guy who sources a lot of parts and knows it can be tough...so the morn information you have, the easier it is.

Thanks for the help with the part numbers and models...I tried the local glass shop in Wichita that everyone recommended to me for custom glass and they can't make anything with the U-shape cutout. I'll hunt for some salvage places, but I might be down to plywood and plexiglass until I can get an OEM.

Call your local CAT/Mobile Track Solutions dealer parts department. That should be the same cab as an MTS 3630/3630T and I show they have them in stock @ MTS.

MTS Part Number: 86043001.

Disclaimer: I don't have a way to confirm they're the same so that would be up to your local dealer possibly to vet out.

MTS is a new cab tractor...his 375 is the old cab

The MTS and new style cab is still in production, and likely in stock in parts everywhere. The C2/HHT cab is old style, and has been out of productions since the 575 went out in 2013/2014.
