WC IL | Going to look at one in the morning, has 62 hours, so practically new. Has a 621TL loader, is the tractor and loader heavy enough for moving round bales and loading manure? 2022 model, has Ag tires. Currently using a Ford 4630, it handles things well. The Workmaster tractor weighs about 1,000 lbs less according to tractordata, hp is similar.

Iowa - Floyd County | I’d make sure it has rear weights or plan on adding them if it doesn’t. Every NH utility tractor I’ve been around is really light in the rear. I’m not completely familiar with the Workmaster series but I think they have a dry clutch. Assuming FWA? To me that’s a must on that size tractor for loader work.

Virginia | I'm looking at a 70 with the 626tl loader. New it's $40k. That's full weights and loaded tires. The 626 will pick up 3130 pounds 10 ft 2 inches. The 621 tl will pick up 2800 pounds 10 ft. Good luck, they seem to be pretty simple bare bones tractors that have very few electrical components to go bad. A friend of mine has a 75 and loves it. The specs are very similar to a jd 540 loader and I can tell you I've moved ALOT of hay/straw and litter/shavings with one of those. I think you will be fine for handling bales if you weight it accordingly. Edited by central va farmer 1/22/2024 23:06

NC Ohio | Right or wrong I just pulled the trigger on a Massey 2606H after looking at a Case IH 60A (same as a NH Workmaster) and JD 5065E. The CNH & MF were similar in price and the JD was 35% more. I went with the MF based on a couple things, it's the heaviest at #5800, has a Perkins knock off that only turns at 1800rpms (CNH is 2500 rpms) and has 2 remotes standard. Granted I don't plan on doing a lot of loader work with mine, the heavier loader on the NH/CNH may hold up better. If your not worried about frame size as much I would defiantly look at the MF 4707 Also keep in mind JD, CNH, and MF are all offering 0% financing for 60 months on the smaller utility tractors. Whether you use it or not, if you figure in 5% interest on your money new will more then likely be a better deal than slightly used. I looked at a 1 year old 50 hour MF, if I added interest cost it was $2k cheaper to go new.

If your looking for a heavy well built tractor in that compact size that has a nearly 12 ft lift on loader and has a 3300 pound capacity, look at a deutz fahr 4080e. The loader is made by stoll and is self leveling up and down. Comes standard with 3rd function and is crazy fast on cycle time. The tractor is simple, no Def, and according to salesman the only electronics is the dash and 4wd switch. I test drove one yesterday and really liked it. $48k with weights and loaded tires and a seat with armrests. I know it's a oddball but for the size and capability deere, new holland, etc offers nothing at that price, and simplicity

Croswell, Michigan | Always ask on these 0% deals if there is a cash discount. Most of the time on 0% deals the interest is buried in the purchase price.

CNY | I have a Workmaster 55 with a loader on it. It has 460 hours of pretty light use. I haven’t had many issues with it, but it’s not a really heavy duty tractor. Just seems lightly built. I’m not telling you not to get one, but I wouldn’t want one for heavy duty daily use

Central IL | I have one of the earlier model 75s from 2012 so my opinions are based upon that. There was some redesigns on those models in the last 11 years. Its not my favorite tractor but does the job. Your concerns about being light are real. I have 600lbs of weight on the rear and still run into sketchy situations handling round bales. I really need fluid as well. Have never felt good with it on sidehills doing anything. I have the 625 loader on mine. It does a lot of flexing and creaking when working it hard so i avoid that type of work. I have been wanting to upgrade to a massey 4700 series when funds come avaliable.

NC Ohio | Yes there was a lower cash price, it varied by brand. I'm not a big customer so doubt I get the best pricing, but for me there was still a savings in keeping money invested and financing new at 0%.

mowrystown ohio sw ohio | I am a blue guy but them 50-70 work master is not much of a work tractor . Not even in the same ball park as the 4630 you have now . Very noisy gearing in rear end and transmission very light.

Im a NH guy, but I can't remember if the workmaster or the Powerstar tractors are built in Turkey. My dealer advised me to stay clear of the Turkey built tractors. I have a T5 built in Italy, 2300 hours, been a good machine. But this fall bought a Massey 4709 as neither NH or Kubota had any open station tractors available. Manufacturing workmanship isn't on par with my NH or Kubotas (loose bolts, hydraulic lines leaking, charging wire loose). Thankfully I have a great dealer to take care of the stupid ****. LOL FY the Massey hydraulics are much quicker than the NH, comes standard with big tires, 2 scvs and a very smooth electric, hydraulic reverser.
