| Bought a new Westfield 12 months and 7 days ago. Just noticed that the plastic tube between the swing hopper and auger has a 10 inch crack in it. Anybody else have similar problem? |

SW Iowa | yep, that plastic material cracks wide open. Strapped an old piece of inner tube over the crack to seal the corn in. I don't think that plastic material they use is UV resistant. |

michigan | I’ve got five of those augers. They all might have a crack in that clear plastic tube but maybe one. I’ve never had anything spill out to have a reason to fix it. |

EC IL | That looks like just a larger version of what Kinze used for our planter tubes that all developed leaks. I found some 2-4" rubber tape that is stretchy and wrap it around to thicken the plastic that split. Tried some liquid flex seal with mixed results. |
