Found a past post about this and wanted to bring it back up. They been spoofing local numbers. They wear you down to say yet just to get them to shut up. Don’t listen to their BS. Junk tools for high prices. Someone needs to stop by and knock on their door.

Have hung up on them several times over the years.

Probably 8 yrs ago they talked me into trying a plasma cutter for 30 days. Got it and ran the daylights out of it. It wasn’t good but it worked. I put it back in the box, took it downtown and put a return to sender stamp on it plus had it certified. Took them a few yrs but they started calling again. Have never bought from them since.

I made the mistake of buying the drill bits (they are just average drill bits in my opinion) but then they'd call every couple of months with a bunch of free stuff for me since I was a good customer, after 10 minutes of talking about the "free" stuff they'd mention what I needed to buy to get the free stuff. The one time it was $3,000 worth of Sawzall blades and they couldn't understand why I didn't need that many blades.
The drill bit set was supposed to have free replacement bits under warranty but after several months of excuses I let them know they were nothing more than scam artists and to take me off their call list.

They have been around for a good 30 years it seems. Hard to believe but they haven’t got shut down or changed names.

I’m guessing they also operate under different names at times but Inland Empire had been calling since I was a teenager on my parents landline

Talked to one of the sales reps just jerking him around. Finally hung up on him. 30 seconds he calls back and called me an a*** ole. Couple of minutes after that his boss called and apologized. Said the employee was fired for the comment. I was shocked.

I keep getting calls from an "Ace Industrial Supply" and keep asking them to take me off the list. I don't give them time to talk

I'm hard of hearing so please talk slower.  Who did you say you are?  With what company?  Oh, I think I've heard of you, where are you folks at?  You've given me your name, the company name, and location.  This is cell phone on the nationwide do not call list.  That means a $500 Federal fine payable to me as the victim.  I'd like to speak with your supervisor please.

I tell them a whole list of things I want and tell them to ship them quickly because I'm going to take bankruptcy in 2 weeks and I want to make sure I have their stuff before I do.

Their spew quite a few years ago was to use profanity. I didn't need any of the things the guy was telling about and he told me to go f myself, so surprised they would apologize.

I got a call one day I was working on a skid loader with my son and it was not going well.(Did I mention how much I hate skid steers to work on) Needless to say, when I got through with the salesman who called, My young Son had learned some new words and I have never gotten a call from them again.

They call me constantly and one day on a long drive I had time and decided to waste their time. The joke was on me so a few weeks later two sets of drill bits show up with a bill fo $600. Researched it a bit and found to never give them a debit card because they will keep charging it. I tried to call to return the items but they came back to me along with the bill. I called their local police e department and filed a report. I also made a complaint to the bbb and the Federal trade commission and found out using spoofed numbers is illegal. They would call me at least six times a day one time from my own phone. I wound up paying with a prepaid gift card just to keep the collection agency off my ass. I also found out if they send you something to refuse the delivery from the ups guy and they will send it back postage due.

A lot of those sales reps work from home...a prison cell. The really foul-mouthed ones are probably convicts.

An ornery fellow that writes on here has them send the free samples to Senator Charles Grassley's office.

They called and insisted that I needed their drill bits and other things. They sent as I supposed to try. They didn’t know since our last encounter I had changed credit cards. Got the stuff in the mail. Got a call 2 months later and they needed money as the card they had from me was bad. I returned their unused tools that I told them I didn’t need and kept the two hand cleaners. That was probably 2 years ago and they ain’t called back.

I guess there have been hawkers, peddlers, shysters and scammers for as long as there have been people.
That's not to say it's a good thing, but it does separate the foolish from the wise.
