Thinking about trading an m7040 kubota for one, just looking for a little more power for auger duty than the kubota has, curious what others think of them. Thanks

I went John Deere on the loader tractor. Blue just built to cheaply

Kubota looked lite too. Deere has met our expectations plus. 5075m

The Workmaster replaced the T4 I think. They were built in Turkey. I bought a T5-115 in 2015, while it is the next frame size up, it has been a super loader tractor. I did order it with the heavy loader, full wheel weights and the 24 speed tranny. Biggest complaint is the small fuel tank.

The Workmasters have engine problems I would upgrade to the Powerstar they are very good solid tractors.

I think they're a decent tractor. A bit light, but your M7040 is too. I'd price what I think New Holland calls a Powerstar. It'd be a Case IH 105C or 120C. If the PowerStar is in a price range you can live with, I'd recommend going that way. The engines are the same engine (F5-3.4L) in the WorkMaster and PowerStar line ups. I assume given they're both 3.4L FPT engines being put in tractors produced in the same factory, that they come from the same engine factory.
