Keep in mind the break is halfway through 99, and then 99.5 up...(just a note)

I have only installed two sets so far, both from East Coast Diesel, has been long enough that everything seems OK.

There are 2 new Reliant sets on Ebay now...for each model.

(Search "99 powerstroke injectors)

Good Luck,

CF

Rosewood Diesel is the only place I deal with. Excellent shop and great people.

Just looked at build date in door it is 05/99 I assume this will indicate early 99 model Next thing I'm going to assume is this indicates whether I need ab-ae-ad injectors. So which ones do I need

I did a set for a guy that I got through Swamps Diesel. Rosewood is more affordable but doesn't have quite as long a warranty.

Using the Vin, (8th digit), and call one of the shops,...they will know instantly...

Good Luck,
CF

PS>>If you decide to use ebay, use the contact seller button>>Other>>and just email...
They will usually return your answer is a few hours or less...

Good Luck,
CF

Edited>>Since the model years start in September, it most likely will be 99.5...but always use the Vin method to be sure.

Look on the passenger side valve cover for build date. My door sticker says I have an early 99, but the motor is a late 99. Bought the truck new

Thanks for the info. I forgot about the model yr starting I sept I will use the serial number to verify Iooked up rosewood they have Avery attractive price and warranty package However the turnaround time seems a little inconveinant by having to send them my injectors guess I will call them tommorow and find out all details. Your info is greatly appreciated

I think the best bang for the buck is the 8 brand new Alliant injectors from rose wood diesel but I'm going with the $1185 rebuild with 3 yr warranty my funds are not quite up to parr for the new ones

Early 1999's have a build date prior to 12/16/98. Build dates after that are a 1999.5
