Does anyone make an electric drive for the meters on a grain drill? I am thinking about doing something like that on a crustbuster drill box. The drill has 3 boxes and I would like each section to have its own motor that way you could easily adjust population and have section control.

(1) FactoryFarmer set up graham electric drives on an air seeder: https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=576288&posts=9...

I would guess you could set up similar system on drill.

(2) Here is a company making systems for air seeders. They might have options for drills: https://www.intellidriveusa.com/

It would be really possible with hydraulic drive. (Section control and variable rate).

I'd go this route. I've seen Factory Farmer's setup and he'll even agree, hydraulic will get you basically the same functionality for quite a bit less money. The Graham system does work tho, saw Snapchats today lol.
