Subject: Montezuma toolbox mount pictures

There have been a lot of service truck posts lately so I thought I would share this. I know it isn't exactly stock talk but this is where I always read and I wanted to mount toolbox like this to be able to still pull gooseneck like many of you might.

My wife got me this Box for christmas (I picked it out). I don't think I will be able to pull gooseneck because this box is too big but you'll get the idea, it might work with the smaller montezuma. I still like this for my box because it swings our over the tailgate so I can reach everything from the ground

I got this idea from ag talk so wanted to give back by showing pictures.

Ft recovery oh
You guys are making me envious. A montezuma box is definitely high up on my wish list, just not a need right now. Better go c if I can find some more tools back lol.
Oh yeah I like that setup, nice job! but if I gotta take my box off every time I pull a trailer it ain't happening.

I like the swinging mount you made. Looks good and practical. I have mine attached to my fuel tank and can still use the full width of the bed. Or move toolbox to the other side behind the tank and use the full length of the bed. Whatever I need to do at the time

Does anyone know where you can find a heavy roller tray that you could mount to a pallet or truck bed then mount a montezuma to it so you could drop tailgate and roll it back where it's easier to reach. I'm going to cut down a pallet and mount my box and air compressor to it so I can move it from pick up to pick up with a forklift.
I just thought the box on a rolling table would be handy

I have mine mounted in my truck using a pair of 500 pound capacity drawer slides. Pushed in tailgate can close, when you need to access the tools open tailgate and slide toolbox out onto the tailgate area. Oh and my gooseneck hitch clears when hooking up and clears when turning

Mine sits on the side of my box. That way my tailgate is open for use as a workbench. I have a receiver hitch vice that I can use so my tailgate has to be up for that.

Just do a search for heavy duty drawer slides. I don't remember where I got mine. It's been several years since I got them
