| Day # 2 of using the meter housings . All is good. Here is the contact email. [email protected] These meters are the 1st 3 he has sold. Fit & finish is awesome!! The dreaded half width shut offs is in my opinion solved. There stainless also with a poly bushing in the middle vs foam. No more twist. I pulled a meter out today & had zero issues. Sure is nice being able to actually close the doors without a hammer & hoping they open back up all the way Now the other stainless parts were purchased from Fertilizer Equipment Co outta east Grand Forks. Everything that was mild steel is stainless now,, except the the product tubes. Those will changed next year. I have been in contact with Luke on this everyday & suggested he make the other parts besides the housings ,, just so the "fit" is matched. Now i never had any major issues other than die grinding one hole one for a bolt . The other thing I forgot to tell Luke about the threaded hole for the psi hose for the air gauges . My bad ,,, so i have no meter box psi gauge reading on The gauges on ft of tank. I will be sending him the info where to put this hole also. Anyone that has any ideas for this ,, please get in touch with him & let him know. I can't say you will have any for this fall, but so far after 200 acres on my strip tiller im very satisfied He is asking $4,000 for the housings,, Deere cost is $2,900. Honestly Luke told me ,," i wanna sell you this & never have to sell you anything else ,, selling parts is not what i wanna do. I just wanna make this & it lasts till you get rid of it or quit using it " Phone # for Luke +1 (519) 682-2404 Edited by mit9750 10/23/2016 00:16 (IMG_6455.PNG) (IMG_6454.PNG) (IMG_6456.PNG) (IMG_6457.PNG) (IMG_6458.PNG) (IMG_6728.JPG) Attachments ---------------- IMG_6455.PNG (216KB - 614 downloads) IMG_6454.PNG (170KB - 620 downloads) (0KB - 418 downloads) IMG_6456.PNG (180KB - 661 downloads) IMG_6457.PNG (203KB - 572 downloads) IMG_6458.PNG (186KB - 606 downloads) IMG_6728.JPG (102KB - 481 downloads) | |||

Saskatchewan | Those sure look good. We are in the middle of rebuilding our meters on our 1910 and we have one whole new meter housing sitting here ti install yet. Maybe i should return it and get these.

WC Mn/Dakotas | So do you have the stainless meters? Or just the meter housings? I went back and read the other post. You got what i call the meter housing from the guy in East grand and then the meter itself from canada eh? I talked to the guy in east grand and i have two or 3 growers that will rebuild this winter with his stainless housings. Hopefully a couple of the coops will too. I had "LiL Hoss" convert 2 carts to hydraulic drive for deep banding. Now we can go 6+ mph and change vrt from 0, 50, 100, to 150 at the snap of a finger or less. Calibration is fast easy and accurate. When i command it to put 20 lbs in the bag, it says that it put out 20.5 lb and that is what the scale says 20.5lb Edited by GOOSEPILOT 10/23/2016 12:22

| Im still using the deere meters. Those don't give me much trouble. Now when I first started talking to Luke about this , he was gonna just build a whole new meter body & use the Morris meters . Kinda like what the soil warrior has. Then he thought if a guy could still use the meters we have , it would save a guy some money. You will still use some the original hardware like The agitator shaft sprockets arm and tha little shaft that drives the meter I suppose I fell I could get in genius, find the right length actuator, build a bracket to actually use the half with disconnects since they work now. Just set up switches in your cab. Again you guys start emailing Luke or calling him, and tell him what you want. I think we got a winner product here so far in my opinion these are NAT approved | |||

WC Mn/Dakotas | I was under the impression the guy in east grand was making the housing. Are they working together? Or both doing same things? Regardless, take any deere 1910 and put stainless on the bottom and hydraulic drive and for under $20k have a 2 or 3 poly tank precision fertilizer instrument. Just need to put a couple heads together and make it section control for each run instead of all one.

| No they aren't working together,, the guy in Grand Forks did tell me he was working at making a housing,,, just wasn't done with his proto type yet. Luke told me if he had a meter housing that did have the section control on it that deere offers now,, he could build that also | |||

WC Mn/Dakotas | Im just smart enough to be dangerous. From what some jd guys say the factory shutoff really isnt a very good design. I haven't seen how it is designed yet, but will look at it this winter. Then whatever it takes for controller to command it is probably the biggest issue.
