Subject: Video of Pair of JD 830 Tractors Plowing in Michigan


Just posted video of the Williams brothers, Dodge & Marshall, of Charlotte, MI plowing a field with their pair of John Deere 830 tractors...one with a cab. Here's the video:

South central, Mn.		Great pics.

I had an 830 for awhile in the 70's, very cheap running for the power. When I bought it, it had a Red Rooster LP booster on it. It had a 100 lb. LP tank mounted in front of the grill with a regulator with a hose plumbed into the air cleaner pipe, when turned on, the harder the engine pulled the more LP it sucked in. Of course it was regulated so you didn't blow up the engine. But you could notice it right away when you turned it on. I pulled a 4-18 JD plow in our heavy soil here. Spent many nights with a snowmobile suit on plowing corn stalks under.
