central - east central Minnesota - | Scott, kurcher, Landa and hotsy are all made in the same plant. Slightly different parts, owned by same parent company. Anyone of them should be fine for your service. We got a Landa NAT gas electric stationaey unit. Very nice unit.

| If you want a machine that your kids probably won't even wear out, go with Hydrotek. Mine is 3000psi @ 3.9 gpm. It's pretty lethal with hot water. Mines electric, belt drive, Cat pump, lifetime warranty on the coil, and 3 year everything else. Shuts off after a minute of not washing to protect the pump. Hotsy is made in Mexico. You will pay at least 2k more for the same capacity machine that will not last as long. Also, stay away from direct drive. The vibration from the motor wears the pump out quicker. There are less than 5 washers made in the US anymore, this is one of them. Local trucking company has over 100 of the machine I have and the dealer told me he gets in one or two a year for minor repairs. Karcher is good but there high quality machines are built in Germany, (cheaper ones in Mexico by hotsy) which means quite a bit more expensive to work on when warranty is out.

Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | I have a John Deere, 6hp electric, think it is 3000 psi and 3.5 gal per minuete, special odered it, wanted one with lots of volume for cleaning out cattle trailers, it has been really good, we wash for hours straight on the livestock trailers and semis, and you don't want to hold it too close to paint or its gone. Wi | Not all Hotsy is made in Mexico. I attached a photo from ours showing the assembled in USA sticker. Says made with parts from US, Italy, China, Japan and Thailand. I could really care less but since you brought it up and it seems to be a big deal.
The machine was a couple hundred more than yours. Has auto stop and auto start as well. 6 year warranty. Lifetime on manifold. I'd have to read back through the details I guess to break down motor, pump, coil, etc.
The brand didn't matter to me, although I do like the design of this machine and how it keeps people from adjusting things. Service is what matters, we all hated fixing them and hated having them broke every time we wanted to wash something. The hotsy dealer had no complaints fixing our machines so they got to deal with keeping those maintained and running and when the time came for a new one they got the business.
I'd buy a German karcher any day, and looked at the hydrotek ones quite a bit awhile back. We used to have an Alkota as well. The electric one you can kind of see in photo below is an Allied, it's been good also. Had an allied gas engine diesel burner model and it was okay. Redid a lot of it and sold it to a neighbor and he's happy. This Hotsy has been good so far, but not too old. I should check the hours on it once out of curiosity.
