SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
I use a lot of it. I prefer aerosol cans. It needs to be compatible with lexan or Marlite. Some seems to repel dust a lot better than others. Also nice to be able to use it below freezing. Your favorite?

The aerosols all seem to be about the same to me. Best clean, least streak for me has been about 2 gallon water, 1 pint vinegar and a couple drops of Dawn dish soap. Apply with a sponge mitt and remove with an O-cedar convex squeegee. Works great, priced right.

Windshield washer solvent. Doesn't freeze, doesn't streak like Windex or like products, cleans well, cheap on a gallon basis. I put in in a quart squirt bottle. We use in in the home too.

Then you just wipe it away with a paper towel or clean cloth?

Yes, spray it onto a glass surface (unless it's a small item, then spray onto a paper towel) and wipe with a paper towel. Follow up with another paper towel to dry.

Until a few years ago we used GM Glass cleaner but they changed their formula/supplier. Bought a can of just about all the commonly available and tried them, the best of the bunch was Bon Ami, doesn't streak and cleans better than average. Only problem is that if they are left out for winter they have to be used upside down, it must pull the straw out of the pick up.

California Duster. Use it probably 90% of the time. The rest of the time its car windshield washer fluid.

Invisible Glass by Stoner is my favorite. It is the most "streak free" glass cleaner I have ever used. I prefer the liquid in a spray bottle over aerosol.

That's what I like also except I prefer the aerosol can. My wife like the spray bottle shown here. We picked this up the last time we got some with the rain repellent in it. Don't know how this works yet.

John Deere Glass cleaner. It foams nicely. Probably best cleaner I've experienced.

4th from the left...aerosol can.

Use old newspaper to wipe off your cleaner and you'll never have streaks.

I use Rain X or rain cutter( rural king brand) this way. Helps repel water and dirt. Works super on OTR trucks. Also is nice to get truck washed and rainX applied to whole truck at truck wash. Stays cleaner longer, and if does get dirty, comes off much easyier and quicker with less water/rain.

On Lexan or plexiglas we use Plexus.  Plexus is commonly used for plastic windows and windshield on aircraft and it is not supposed to scratch or cloud like other cleaners can.  I have read that cropdusters also use Pledge (the furniture cleaner) on their windshield, especially where there are lots of bugs.  On glass we use a California Duster or windshield washer fluid.

Any of the house brands seem to work fine. We usually have a few of them around here. The one I don't like is the Jet Dry brand. It stinks up your vehicle to high heaven. They added some kind of scent to make theirs "different" from the others and they succeeded. Only use it for exterior windows and been trying to use it up for 5 years.

Another vote for newspaper. Learned it while in college. Something read while you are waiting in line or at end of the field.

Interested in different cleaners. Wife makes me wash house windows since I provided unsolicited feedback once on her job. One job I actually enjoy.

I get to do a lot of jobs due to that.

Newspaper works great as does any similar paper.

There are reusable towels made for glass cleaning also that work well.

A good squeegee can be handy also

I use Sprayway also. Buy it from Costco comes 4 to a pack. I use old terrycloth towels, seems there is always some wearing out. Just toss them in the washer when through and reuse. I have also use Brotex paper towels, they work well and no lint.

Eastern Oregon
Automotive and tractor = windshield fluid
Wood stove = Rutland glass conditioner cleaner
Plexiglass and lexan = lemon pledge

The first time that I cleaned the bezel in the pickup using pledge, my daughter said, "Mom, why did Dad take that glass out?"
