I purchased a 515C with 1700hrs and a few major infirmities a year ago. Fixed the ouchies and have used it enough around the farm to fall in love with it. Now I think it would be keen to have pallet forks that attach to the loader arms instead of hanging off the front of the bucket ( I can't see through that bucket). Haven't had any luck with the local construction salvage yard (Wellers) finding anything. I would think that there are other loaders that have quick-couplers that would work also. Need some suggestions. TIA Dirt

Not sure if this is what your looking for but we had a 760 hyundia loader and couldn't find a quick coupler. Ended up having one built in British Columbia Canada. It worked out real well. Since then have found pallet fork blanks and made a set of pallet forks also. If you would like to know more about this e-mail should work.

Try H&R equipment in Buffalo NY. Not sure if they have a websight so you will have to Google it. They used to specialize in IH and Hough loaders.

They tend to be pretty high priced and if your loader was in the condition/price I buy at, you might be doubling your investment. If you have a welder and access to a machine shop with creative guys you'll likely be able to make one yourself.

Here is a video from quick attach explaining the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ug3tmqQ09I

Here are some suppliers:

You could buy, but probably make something similar for lots less $

hth,

Pat

Funny I was thinking something similar myself. Haven't fixed all the boo boos on the wheel loader but its happening!!

Some of the other posters have some great suggestions. I have one to add though - - you will find that its not very easy to find pallet forks in a decent size (ie not skid steer size). What I found - - buy an old fork lift (you can get them for less than the value of new forks). Just don't forget to check them out to make sure tha they haven't been welded up a lot or stretched by too hard a life in their previous versions!!

Pat you must think along the same lines I do. I let an attachment kit go for $500 on Purple Wave a week before I made the loader purchase. The loader deal was one of those off again on again deals where "Jack" gets first shot but he doesn't have the money now, but he might get it from his mom, but now no, but, but etc.. :) Cheers Dirt
