I think the technical term is "screwed'  My experience with Super Glue has been once it dries, especially on a textile like cloth or carpet, your chances of getting it out are slim.  Acetone might work, but it might also affect the carpet.  And once the Super Glue is dry acetone is not nearly as effective.

Check with a carpet layer if you fail removing it. Perhaps they could cut it out and put in a piece removed from under furniture.

You might be able to clip out the glue gob with a scissors. Hope it is not in an obvious place.
If push comes to shove a carpet layer can cut out the bad spot and glue in a patch so well won't be able to see it, if you have some scraps of the carpet stashed somewhere.

I used to enjoy building and flying R/C airplanes and I learned about a product that would release super glue. I have had several times that I glued two fingers together or glued a piece of balsa wood to my finger and this stuff works. It will just dissolve the glue almost immediately. I have no idea what it will do to carpet but the way I see it your carpet is ruined, might as well give this a try and see what happens. This might be the easy way and if not go to plan B. Here is a link to an online hobby supply but you may be able to pick it up somehwere close to you.

Just looked at the website for Super Glue and found these tips also.

Awful expensive way to buy a tiny amount of acetone from Tower! Try the acetone in an inconspicuous place first. Don't use nail polish remover as it has oil in it to prevent brittle nails and might make a greasy stain. The acetone will get it out. Pour a bit on the spot and blot it up wit a white cotton washcloth. Don't rub just press and blot. Might take a few tries but it will work. I too used to build airplanes and boat too and learned the hard way.
