| Usually put on 250 lbs of liquid N upfront .. thinking about split applying this now.. have the pre plant sprayed on and then come back and knife the other half in with a liquid coulter machine ... what do you guys think of this plan ? It be 125 lbs each time . I have heavy Missouri soils... I just hate spraying that much on at the start and hoping it stays all there.. if I knife it in down the middle of a 36 inch row will the plant find it good? Also do some flood irrigation . How long would I have to wait to hill the corn after applying the nitrogen? Thanks guys!! | |
