Subject: WideMatch in SRW

Western NY

Due to an early warmup in April my wheat got ahead of me. It has 3 leaves and the flagleaf is just starting to come out. Too late for Harmony now. It's been raining for the past week so the earliest I could get on it is probably Thursday. The label for WideMatch says

Crop Uses
Wheat (including Durum), Barley, Oats
Application Timing: Apply as a broadcast postemergence treatment
to actively growing wheat, barley or oats, from the 3 leaf crop growth
stage up to and including flag leaf emergence (Zadoks scale 39) for
control of listed broadleaf weeds. Apply when weeds are actively
growing, but before weeds are 4 inches tall or vining. To obtain
season-long control of perennial weeds such as Canada thistle, apply
when the majority of the basal leaves have emerged from the soil up to
bud stage. For suppression of volunteer potatoes, apply before potato
plants are 6 inches tall. Only weeds emerged at the time of application
will be controlled. Extreme growing conditions such as drought or near
freezing temperatures prior to, at, and following time of application
may reduce weed control and increase the risk of crop injury at all
stages of growth. Do not use if cereal crop is underseeded with
a legume.

The wheat is thick in 10 inch rows. Should I spray the WideMatch or skip it? I sprayed Roundup and Dicamba on most of it before it was planted. Weeds are light now but might not be in 2 months. Don't want to do it if I'll take a big yield hit. Going on it regardless for fungicide and a 2nd shot of N which is late now too. Sometimes I really suck at farming.
