Subject: Massey 4610M speedometer calibration R4 to Ag tires

S. Iowa
Hello -

I'm wondering if anyone has experience calibrating a 2015 4610M speedometer. I bought this tractor with 200 hours and find the tractor is moving noticeably faster than the speedometer reads. Upon reviewing the transmission charts, I believe it is set for R4 tires but the tractor is equipped with ag tires. The top speed with R4 tires is supposed to be 19 mph, but when I read the speed with my phone gps spedometer app, I'm going 24mph, which is close to the chart setting for ag tires. This ratio appears to be similar across the range of gears, so it affects my spreader settings, etc. I ordered the service manual, but don't see the details on how to reset the dash for ag tires. I have the standard 12x12 (no creeper gear option). I'll have the tractor in the AGCO dealer's shop in a month or so for a loader/3rd function install but wanted to see if there was an easy fix. Thanks in advance!

Todd
