| Seems to have something to do with a faulty ground speed radar reading. Whenever the ground speed readout becomes erratic, the engine rpm drops by about 100 rpm. If the ground speed is reading correctly, then the engine rpm remains stable. I unplugged the radar unit and the engine runs smoothly and it still shows mph, just from a mechanical gear speed sensor. I like radar speed, then it shows % slip too. Anyone else had this weird problem? Don't know why the radar gun would make the engine rpm act that way. | |
