Subject: Tractor speed vs. GPS speed

Southwestern Ontario
Using a starfire 3000 with the integrated autosteer valve on an 8210. On the performance monitor on the 2600, the GPS speed is always showing about 2mph higher than what the tractor displays in the corner post. Is this common to have that big of a difference?

Also, each time we use it, after we get going we always get the message "ground speed different than radar speed" error message. We can clear it and don't see it again but it's odd. The tractor does have the radar hookup but I don't think it works as it never displays when I select the radar on the right hand console. I also assumed that the 2600 would automatically just pull speed from the globe, but I'm wondering if that's not the case?

If the 2600 is in fact trying to pull speed from the radar, is there any way we can stop it from doing that and just get the speed from the globe only?
