I will admit that I know less than I should about our society/financial systems.  I like many on this board don't like government handouts.  You just have the feeling that government money comes with more government intervention.  This video was an eye opener for me.  This is US based but after watching I can see the same taking place here in Canada.
What tweaked my interest in watching is he started the presentation talking about farmers.
