So I am bottle feeding some nice black cross heifers calves right now with the intention of breeding them some day. Typically our holstein bull calves go on self feeders after weaning with no forage. I'm trying to plan ahead here for feed. How should I treat these heifers after weaning? What feeds at what times? Thanks.
