Subject: Splitting the 1910 JD cart lower plastic manifold

North Dakota
I am putting on SS meter housings and need to split the plastic manifolds that go underneath the housing we had to grind the carriage bolts off to remove them from the old steel plate but are unable to budge the bolts from the plastic.. this is a single shoot and was told I should be able to remove them.. told a double shoot is next to impossible to remove them bolts like they weld themselves to the plastic... I might try a air hammer and see if that will do anything first but I did read a post on another forum that said they took and cut a slit down the plastic where the bolt runs and got them loose and said the new ones where designed that way now?? Anyone tried this or any secret to getting them out? John deere wants over 1000$ for 8 of those plastic pieces and I'm doing both tanks!!

Thanks
