Subject: JD 3830 sp hay machine bump up the hp or repower?

From what I can find online, it's seeming that engine is 75hp. Is it possible to bump it up much if at all or has anyone repowered one? I was kinda thinking more closer to 90-100 hp. From a tractor versus a hydrostat like this, is the usable horsepower the same or do you get more use out of a hydrostat type machine versus a tractor? I'm wondering more about using it in hills. This machine has a 16' sickle conditioner head, so would a 75hp tractor pulling a cutting unit similar to this be the same as this unit pushing this head? Or will one perform better than the other? I could only cut at 4-6mph with either. And if you can explain why. I hope I'm explaining my question clearly.
