| My sister, after having a routine mammogram got a call back for an ultrasound. Apparently all the lymph nodes on her right side were enlarged. Her mammo was in Jan. They checked her records and she had just gotten the Covid vaccine yesterday, so that couldn't be it. Then my sister said she had her shingles vaccine two weeks before the mammogram. They are pretty sure that is what caused the enlarged nymph nodes. In fact, they said any vaccine could cause that. So they are telling her to wait at least a month after her second vaccine then come back and get checked again. So it is important to tell your wife not to schedule a mammogram around the time of any vaccine. Pass it on to save lots of unnecessary worry.
