Subject: EzSteer Calibration Tips

Radville, SK
I'm seeking some tips on calibration for our Ez-Guide 500 and Ez-Steer in our Versatile 2360 using WAAS.

As we wait for things to dry down(and for the rain to come), I'm in the process of readying the tractor, double disc, and air drills for field work. I would really appreciate some tips on how to get faster line acquisition coming out of a headlands. I'm concerned about possible misses from the tractor weaving multiple times acquiring the line and the fact that weaves don't look "nice" ;)

First off, does anyone have a quick explanation of what each of the variables mean and a correlation of how changing them affects the systems performance?

I ask this, because with a few sets of completely different numbers, I got roughly the same level of precision. I was unhappy with this, as there were either still swerves in the tracks, or it took a very long time for it to finally get close to the line(meaning it would hover about 5 feet away and slowly work it's way in).

That's a start, please ask anything I forgot to mention.
