| Looking to learn
Are 2, 5, and 10 year notes and 30 year bonds, all the same things - basically buying US debt over different period's of time?
Is the their basis points the interest paid if you move the decimal to the left 2 digits?
When you buy one of these, is the interest fixed when you buy, or is it variable?
Any other gleanings that can be derived from these numbers would be appreciated.
