Subject: Winter wheat nitrogen plan

Located in mid Michigan and haven’t had very good wheat yields In past. I usually applied it all up front top dressing it in late March but think I’m loosing to much N. This year I’m thinking of going out with a 100 lbs of urea in late March and streaming on the remaining N amount later. Trying to have around a 100 lbs of N total. I applied about 20 lbs in fall with p and k starter. Do I deduct that 20 lbs from total plan or should I plan on applying total N this spring. Also need to add some S either with dry or liquid not sure what is better. Should I add a certain percentage of slow release to the urea? Just looking for some input on my plan.
