Bourbon, Indiana | Finally got dry enough up here in indiana that I could try out my new ez guide 500 with ez steer running omni star xp, updated version 4.0. The trouble I'm having is if I get over 5mph it starts to wonder offline then it weaves back and forth about 4-5inches constantly, I've played with the settings enough that I think I got it as good as I can get if unless there is something I'm missing. I guess I'll take back what I said earlier, I spray at 7mph, when I was spraying it was a little wet out and maybe the front tires (2wd) aren't able to grab enough to steer correctly. Well then it got to windy so I had to quit, so I came home and tried it out in another field that was worked and is dry and stayed at 5mph and it didn't wonder offline one bit. So I"m not sure if it's the speed or the wet ground? idk. I"m leaning towards the wet ground but not sure.
I don't recall what my settings are right now I"d have to go out and look.
Anyone else have this happen to them and might have a fix for it? or just wait till the ground dries and try again?
