Lancaster, OH | A man in Africa found a diamond. It was the size of a lemon. Knowing how valuable it was, he had a secure steel box constructed and hired 4 security guards to accompany the box to London to the investors.
When the men and the box arrived in London at the investors, they opened the box and found coal.
Several days later, the investors received a plain brown package in the mail containing the diamond. The African knew that everyone might target the secure box but nobody would pay any attention to a plain brown package.
Jesus came to us in much the same way even though he was expected to be delivered differently.
This Christmas seems very much like a plain brown wrapper Christmas. We won't have the gatherings, the family and all the social gatherings associated with this celebration.
I pray we find the diamond in the plain brown package.
