Subject: Earlage ?

Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
Question for the savvy feeders on this site, can a person substitute earlage for straight grain corn in a finishing ration ? we currently feed HM corn in our finish ration but would be willing to give up some speed of finish if we could eliminate the circus involved in the HM process. That question being asked, if possible how much extra time on feed would it require to feed earlage exclusively ? I realize in a perfect world one might want both products but we will either go all earlage or improve the dog and pony show involved in putting up HM corn. I guess third option would be both with less corn being HM---would rather not though----

I bet some gray haired guys on here finished on corn silage only back in the day !
