Subject: Unloading grain bin using air pressure - fan.

Mid-Missouri
We have a 36 foot grain bin with an 8" tube running under the floor horizontally all the way through. We put the auger on either side of the bin when we unload the bin, depending on were we need to direct the seed beans. Would it be possible to put an axial fan on one end of the tube to blow air through the tube and blow beans out the other end into an auger or belt conveyor. I have often wondered this but never have tried it. Obviously, an air outlet would have to be modified to prevent seed from blowing out the tube across the drive way. Also, with the right size fan, would it be faster than an auger? Thanks.
