Subject: Deere New Generation front slab weight setup-what are they worth.

West Central Iowa
I am looking for some front weights for a 20 series JD that I want to run a mounted rotary cutter on and have found this setup on a tractor and I am wondering what it is worth. I will most likely be pulling them off myself, so they should come with most of the hardware, provided they were mounted with the correct stuff.

Here is what I am looking at.

2 side frame mounting brackets.

1 double wide front weight.

2 standard size front weights.

I am not sure if the side frame mounting brackets are the cast iron mounting brackets or the fabricated steel brackets. From looking at the parts card it appears that the cast iron brackets are used with the single sized weights and the fabricated brackets are used with the double sized weights, is this correct? Was it possible to bolt the double front weight onto the cast iron brackets?

Anyone know what this setup would weigh and what it would be worth? I know I could probably hang a bracket and suitcase weights on for less money, but these would be going on a restored tractor and I prefer to keep it "correct".

Thanks!
