East Central Mo. | I have a healthy stand of winter annuals, a solid carpet of small broad-leaves between the corn rows. I'd like to spray them and spread fertilizer and wondered if I could combine the two to save time. I'm a one man operation. The corn was shelled a week ago, and of coarse there's some fodder and shucks covering parts of it. I asked two local chemical places, one said it works. but I need warm sunny days. The other said they thought I would end up with a speckled job, and would only kill small circles where each fertilizer pellet hit. Has anyone ever impregnated fertilizer with 24d in the fall and does it work? | |
