Subject: Covid and livestock

Iowa
Covid is making the rounds thru our family — wife was on phone with people from the state of iowa — they were asking what livestock we had. I know Sanford has been working on something similar — anybody got any idea what they’re finding. I know the coronavirus genus is found in a lot of different livestock.

In our immediate family — wife got it, oldest daughter, youngest son — so far I have not, oldest son and younger daughter had very mild/no symptoms. In our family that would follow order of who’s with most livestock - more time has means less symptoms. Told the wife she’s paying the price for having me do all the nursery chores for the last 2 turns.

I figured covid was a pretty minor deal if you’re young and healthy- but the same strain sent my 40 year old brother in law to hospital (he got it while here). So was kinda a wake up call to me.
