I attempted to make my own remote switch using a 25 pin connector (old printer cable). After plugging this cable in it says "EZ Steer over voltage ensure that you're only conected to a 12V source". Is my cable bad or what would cause this sort of reaction. I took the switch off of the end of the cable so all circuits should be open and it still said the same thing. What do you all think?
