Mid-Missouri | We are demoing a GS2 2600 monitor in a Deere 8430. The owners manual for the monitor that came with it is very general. Half of the book talks about the old brown box. Surely there is a book from deere that covers how to operate this monitor, what book is that on getting started? Also, for running this tractor, what pages do you prefer to have setup on the home pages, I think you can have up to six. Furthermore, I don't fully understand the record buttons. There are about four differant record buttons but they are accessed on different pages, such as boundaries, curve, and guidance record buttons. Why so many record buttons, and if they are necessary, can I move them all to be accessed on the guidance screen to eliminate the need of scrolling through, finding so many pages? Also, is Deere coming out with a new monitor soon, like a GS3. I wish these monitors would have a video input connection for equipment camera's. Thanks in advance. | |
