Subject: Brillion ripper

Earlville, NY
Looking at picking up a used Brillion LCS5 for taking care of some headland and travel lane compaction not for primary tillage. Not familiar
with these, will it do the job of breaking up deep hardpan? Should we put some type of V or wing points on it? Picture is for reference, the one we're looking at is a 5 shank, pretty worn if it works good may upgrade in the future.
