Edwall, Wa | Both of our FMX's have completely torn the Ram ball off and hit the floor. Luckily none of them shattered the screens. Both powered up normally and can't find any damage to them. Trimble needs to address this problem ASAP. What we did to fix the problem for now is put the rubber ball back on the stud and attached the Ram clamp, put it in the drill press and drilled 1/4 hole through both sides. We loaded the side that tore away up with gorilla glue then stuck the bolts through with the nuts. This should prevent it from falling off again. (hopefully) | |
